The elegant design of the lobby and dining area creates a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by a fantastic restaurant with exceptional service. Our bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. Unfortunately, the cold water in the sink didn’t function, and the temperature controls were confusing. Street noise and the presence of homelessness nearby made for a restless night.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed a delightful wine tasting in the courtyard and attended a vibrant live music event. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. Worth noting, the location is perfect for food lovers, with amazing spots nearby!
We faced an issue with the air conditioning, which didn't cool the room effectively, making for a not-so-comfortable night.

We had a lovely time exploring the nearby campus with our little one. The hotel's location made it super convenient, and after a long day, we enjoyed a tasty burger at the restaurant. They even had a cozy lounge area where we could relax together.
It would be great if the hotel could improve soundproofing for family rooms.

The Deluxe King Room was nice and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made it easy to sleep. The decor was modern but still had a historic charm. It was pretty clean, and everything worked fine. However, the A/C took too long to cool down the room. Overall, it wasn't bad, but not the best either.

Comfortable room with a great location near many restaurants. The air conditioning barely worked, making it tough to sleep. Enjoyed the happy hour drinks at the bar. Would be nice if parking was included instead of off-site charges.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Shattuck Plaza for a business trip. The front desk staff, especially Olivia, offered a warm and friendly welcome. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the BART station. My room was quite clean and stylish. The restaurant and bar really impressed me with their atmosphere. I enjoyed an excellent steak for dinner. Also, shout out to our server Megan for the superb service. However, there were some issues. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work well, which made it uncomfortable at times. I had to ask for more towels, as there weren’t enough for my stay. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room unless I booked it in advance, which was inconvenient. Plus, parking wasn't included, and I had to find off-site options that were costly. Overall, there were highlights, but some aspects can definitely be improved.
